Rock chips don’t care what the car cost.

A single trip up I-95, a stretch of construction on Okeechobee Boulevard, or a weekend run behind a sand-hauling truck can mark a front bumper that was perfect that morning. On an exotic with soft factory paint, or a truck that sees real miles, those chips add up fast.

Paint protection film (PPF) takes the hit before your paint does. At Palm Beach Ceramics, we’re factory-trained on LLumar PPF and install it for owners of exotics, luxury cars, and trucks across West Palm Beach and Palm Beach County. We work on one vehicle at a time so the install isn’t rushed.

    What paint protection film is

PPF is a clear, flexible urethane film applied over your painted surfaces. Installed cleanly, it’s nearly invisible. You see your paint, not the film.

    ABSORBS ROCK CHIPS

Takes road debris that would otherwise break through to primer.

    RESISTS SAND PITTING

Abrasion resistance matters in South Florida, where sand finds every road.

    SELF-HEALS LIGHT MARKS

Light swirls and scuffs in the top layer relax with heat, often just from the Florida sun.

    UV AND COASTAL SALT

Keeps the paint underneath protected from the environment as well as from impact.

    PRESERVES ORIGINAL PAINT

For exotics and collector-grade cars, intact factory paint matters for value.

    LLUMAR FACTORY-TRAINED

Installed by our factory-trained team, one vehicle at a time.

    Why exotics need film

Exotics sit low, run wide tires, and often wear paint that’s softer than you’d expect for the price. Front splitters, bumper intakes, and the leading edges of rear fenders take constant debris. Repainting a panel on one of these cars is expensive, and it can affect value and originality.

Film lets you drive the car the way it was meant to be driven, on highways and back roads, without watching the front end collect damage. We take our time on complex shapes, vents, and sensors so edges are clean and the film reads as paint.

    Why trucks need film

A truck that gets used gets chipped. Tall, flat fronts catch debris, and rocker panels and lower doors take spray from the tires. Large hoods show every mark. Whether it’s a working truck, a lifted weekend build, or a luxury pickup, PPF on the impact zones keeps it looking cared for without asking you to baby it.

    Coverage options

We map coverage to how you drive, not a menu. We’ll recommend coverage after we see the vehicle and hear how it’s used.

    FULL FRONT

Full hood, full fenders, front bumper, headlights, and mirrors. The most common choice, covering the zones that take the most damage.

    TRACK OR HIGH-IMPACT ADD-ONS

Rockers, lower doors, rear fender leading edges, and A-pillars for cars and trucks that see more debris.

    BEFORE THE FILM

Paint condition matters before film goes on

Film protects what’s underneath it, including any swirls, marring, or defects. On most vehicles, we recommend paint correction on the panels being filmed so the paint under the PPF is as clean as possible. On new vehicles, that may be a light refinement. On older paint, it may mean real correction first.

    BETTER TOGETHER

    PPF and ceramic coating together

PPF and ceramic coating solve different problems. Film stops impact. Graphene ceramic coating adds gloss, UV resistance, and easier washing. A popular setup for Palm Beach owners is full-front PPF with ceramic coating on the rest of the paint and on compatible film. THE APPOINTMENT

    How a PPF install works

One vehicle at a time. Your car gets the bay and the installer. Timing depends on paint condition, coverage, and what else the vehicle needs — we plan around precision, not a clock.

    01

    Walkaround

We review existing chips and paint condition, then confirm coverage.

    02

    Wash and decontamination

The paint has to be completely clean for film to adhere properly.

    03

    Correction where needed

We refine the panels being filmed.

    04

    Precise film installation

LLumar film is installed by our factory-trained team, with careful edge work and attention to sensors, badges, and complex contours.

    05

    Inspection and handoff

We inspect the work and hand the vehicle back with care guidance. Proper PPF is intricate work — stretch, edges, sensors, and compound curves get extreme care so the film reads as paint, not a wrap. We take the time; we don’t rush an install to clear the bay. Paint condition, coverage, and any correction or coating paired with the film shape the schedule — precision comes first.

    WARRANTY

    Manufacturer-backed LLumar coverage

LLumar PPF carries a manufacturer-backed limited warranty (details on the film and coverage you choose). We’ll confirm terms in your quote.
